IS AMERICA A CHRISTIAN NATION

While many Founding Fathers were Christians, and some founding documents contain references to a “Creator” or “Supreme Being,” the extent to which America can be considered explicitly founded on Christian principles is a matter of ongoing interpretation and debate.
